Additional Notes

I’m a blogger, both at my own site and a reviewer for The Good, the Bad, and the Unread. My reviews are honest, colored occasionally by a dry sense of humor and my inability to refrain from being a smart ass when the occasion warrants it.

My taste in books tends toward the paranormal, the fantasy (including urban fantasy) and the science fiction romance. I do read other genres as well, although I’m not terribly fond of straight contemporaries most of the time. I’m a feminist, and I tend to look for books with strong, competent heroines who are worthy of their heroes. (They don’t necessarily have to have a mean right hook and an attitude problem is definitely not required, but they need to be people in their own right with just as much depth as the heroes.

I think digital technology is important, and I think ebooks are going serious places. I’m passionate about the rights of print-disabled readers to have equal access to ebooks as our sighted counterparts.
